1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how NetraTech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Android application ICMP Smart Network (the “App”), package name com.networktools.app.

By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall and stop using the App.

2. About the App

ICMP Smart Network is a free network diagnostic tool. It helps you test and inspect network connectivity using features such as:

• ICMP / ping tests
• DNS lookup
• NSLOOKUP and related network queries
• Other connectivity checks available in the App

3. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal data.

The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email inside the App, and does not transmit personal information to NetraTech servers for profiling, marketing, or analytics.

Network tests you run (for example hostnames or IP addresses you enter) are processed on your device to perform the requested diagnostic. We do not operate a backend that stores those queries as user profiles.

4. Permissions

The App requests only the following Android permissions:

• INTERNET — required to send and receive network diagnostic traffic (ICMP, DNS, and related tests).
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to detect whether the device has an active network connection before running tests.

These permissions are used solely to provide the App’s diagnostic features. They are not used to collect personal information about you.

5. Advertising (Future Versions)

The current version of the App does not display advertisements and does not include advertising SDKs.

In a future release (planned for version 2), we may introduce Google AdMob ads. If advertising is added:

• This Privacy Policy will be updated before or when ads ship
• AdMob and Google may process device and advertising identifiers according to Google’s policies
• You may be able to manage ad preferences through your Google account / device settings where available

Until ads are enabled, no AdMob data processing occurs through this App.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data, we also do not knowingly store children’s personal information.

7. Data Security

Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal-data database maintained by NetraTech for this App. You remain responsible for how you use diagnostic results on your own device and network.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may open system network interfaces or resolve public hostnames you choose to query. Those destinations are outside our control. This Policy applies only to the App itself, not to third-party websites or services you choose to test.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including before introducing AdMob or other features that affect privacy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
