Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Android application ICMP Smart Network (the “App”), developed by NetraTech, package name com.networktools.app.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The App

ICMP Smart Network is a free network utility that provides diagnostic features such as ICMP/ping tests, DNS lookup, NSLOOKUP, and related connectivity checks.

The App is provided for informational and troubleshooting purposes. Results may vary based on your device, carrier, firewall, and network conditions.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, NetraTech grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices you own or control, solely for lawful purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except where applicable law allows
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App
• Remove proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App to attack, disrupt, or probe systems without authorization

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and only against networks, hosts, and services you are permitted to test. You are solely responsible for the targets you query and for any consequences of those tests.

Prohibited uses include, without limitation:

• Unauthorized scanning, flooding, or denial-of-service activity
• Attempting to gain access to systems you do not own or administer
• Any activity that violates local, national, or international law

5. Permissions & Device Access

The App requires INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions to perform network diagnostics. By using the App, you consent to those permission uses as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Free App & Future Advertising

The App is currently free to download and use, without in-app purchases required for core diagnostic features.

In a future version (planned for version 2), NetraTech may introduce Google AdMob advertisements. Continued use after ads are introduced constitutes acceptance of that change, subject to the updated Privacy Policy and these Terms.

7. No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

NetraTech does not warrant that diagnostic results will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NETRATECH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it and uninstall it.

9. Updates & Changes

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

We may suspend or discontinue the App (or any feature) without liability.

10. Termination

Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimer, liability limits, and governing provisions) will survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer’s primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply.
